The Band Representative provides family and child support to community members on and off reserve when Children’s Aid Society (CAS) or First Nation Child & Family Services (FNCFS) is involved with a family. This program is responsible for overseeing all Child and Family Services matters in our community and ensures that the best interests of the children are being taken care of at the judicial level.

The Band Representative program also assists in the recruitment of new foster parents and customary care parents within the community. The program strives to keep our children safe through community and First Nation supports.
