Aanii Sheguiandah First Nation Members,
We would like to provide our community with an update regarding the PCD payments.
Today, the Bank of Montreal (BMO) advised Sheguiandah First Nation that they are actively working on processing the payments. While we understand many members are eagerly awaiting these funds, BMO has confirmed that the payment process is underway.
Chief and Council recognize that this delay has been frustrating and appreciate the patience and understanding shown by our community. Please note that we remain in regular communication with BMO and will continue to advocate for the timely processing of payments.
As soon as we receive any new information, we will share it with the community as quickly as possible.
